Greek Bacon Burgers

1 pkg (300 g) Yves Veggie Cuisine® The Good Veggie Burger (4 burgers)
1 pkg (156 g) Yves Veggie Cuisine® Veggie Bacon Strips
1 cup (250 mL) shredded lettuce
1 tomato, sliced
1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped pitted black olives
4 soft sesame buns

Tzatziki Sauce:
1 cup (250 mL) plain dairy-free yogurt
1/2 cup (125 mL) finely chopped cucumber
2 tbsp (30 mL) lemon juice
2 tbsp (30 mL) minced red onion
2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tsp (10 mL) finely chopped fresh dill
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) dried oregano

The Good Veggie Burger


  1. Tzatziki Sauce: Stir together yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, red onion, parsley, dill, garlic, salt and oregano.
  2. Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grate well. Grill burgers according to package directions. Meanwhile, grill bacon strips, turning once, for 3 to 5 minutes or until grill-marked and crispy.
  3. Assemble burgers, bacon strips, Tzatziki Sauce, lettuce, tomato slices and black olives in buns.


Serve with potato wedges or sweet potato wedges if desired.
