Guacamole Veggie Dogs with Grilled Peach Salsa

Grilled Peach Salsa:
3 peaches, halved and pitted
1/3 cup (75 mL) diced red pepper
2 green onions, finely sliced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
2 tbsp (30 mL) lime juice
2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt 

Veggie Dogs:
1 pkg (450 g) Yves Veggie Cuisine® Veggie Dogs Family Pack (12 Veggie Dogs)
12 hot dog buns, toasted
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) prepared guacamole

  1. Grilled Peach Salsa: Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grates well. Grill peaches for 10 to 12 minutes or until softened and well marked. Chop peaches; toss together with red pepper, green onions, jalapeño, lime juice, cilantro and salt.
  2. Veggie Dogs: Meanwhile, grill Veggie Dogs according to package directions. Serve in buns with guacamole and peach salsa.


Substitute plums, pineapple or mango for peaches if desired.
Substitute fresh basil for cilantro if desired.
